Staff News

We have two new employees at the Eastern Owyhee County Library!  Tracy Fisher, a long-time resident of Grand View, has taken over from Tammy Wilson as Assistant Librarian and resident "computer guru".  He started as a Volunteer and, as usually happens with volunteers, moved right into the position with very little fanfare.  Be sure to say "Hi!" and make him feel welcome when you come into the library.

We also have a new Program Director.  We were sorry to see Sariah Pearson leave, but totally understand about wanting to spend more time with family.  She is a very busy lady and she will be missed here at the library.  On the bright side, our new Program Director is a familiar and cheery face.  Kathy Chick will be taking over all the library's children, teen and adult programs as of February 1!  We are all very excited that Kathy will be back doing what she loves to do -- work with people, kids and adults!  She is full of wonderful, exciting ideas and is eager to get started.

Look for announcements about what is being planned and make note of the dates and times on your calendars!
