Boise woman charged with stealing car
Kaitlyn B. Johnson, 19, of Boise is charged with felony grand theft after police say she took a car that was left running outside a Vista Avenue convenience store at about 6 a.m. Oct. 26. The car was found about 2:30 p.m. Thursday near Vista Avenue and Kootenai Street during a traffic stop. As temperatures drop, police say drivers need to remember to turn off their vehicles and lock the doors to prevent theft.
